Lies, double charges and no refunds .... VENUS.com SUCKS

Senior Year.  Spring Break cruise.

To Do List:

  • Order kick ass bikini.
  • Buy the drink package.
  • Get a spray tan.

    2 out of 3 isn't so bad, right?  

    Well, yeah it IS bad.  It's really bad.  
    Especially when it's because the bikini you ordered didn't show up. 

    You know, the bikini you found online, loved and ordered from Venus.com WEEKS before your cruise.

    The one that you checked with the company about when the tracking number they gave you said it had been shipped almost 2 weeks prior yet it STILL hadn't arrived (and looked like it hadn't moved at all).

    Yes folks. That's just the beginning of my VenusSUCKS.com story.  

    The SparkNotes version?   Venus.com LIED.

    They gave a tracking number for a package that they simply printed a shipping label for so it LOOKED like it shipped but, in fact, it hadn't.

    When contacted they said that the bathing suit was backordered.  But they had shipped it.  But it was backordered so how did they ship it?  And if they shipped it why does it still show that it's there?  Well, because it's backordered.  

    Wait, what??  

    "We'll overnight it to you today so you'll have it tomorrow before you leave for your trip."

    "But I thought you said it was backordered."

    "We'll overnight it to you today so you'll have it tomorrow before you leave for your trip."

    "The bikini, shorts and shirt that you say are backordered??  You'll overnight it to me?"

    "Yes"

    Ummm....I hadn't indulged in the drink package yet....please tell me how that was supposed to happen? Which story was the lie?

    Apparently the lie was that the order was going to be shipped overnight because I didn't receive it before I left for my trip.

    Nice.

    Venus SUCKS.

    There's more to the story and more runarounds that happened.  Double charging, more lies, etc...

    And it continues today, a solid MONTH plus later.

    When I returned from my trip, the order was waiting for me.  Too late.

    I packaged it up and sent it back for a refund.

    Yes, you guessed correctly.....I STILL haven't received a refund.

    So I went without my order that I specifically made for my trip.  And now I'm without the money I spent on the order that I never received in time for the trip.

    I wish I had read the reviews on Venus.com BEFORE I ordered anything from them.  Apparently I'm not the first and probably won't be the last that has experienced the same or similar problems.

    Let's help others avoid the disappointment and aggravation of dealing with Venus.com.
